SUMMARY:
Tameka is an avid supporter of education, a lifelong learner and has a passion for empowering students to reach their fullest potential. Tameka has obtained the following:
- a Bachelors degree in Information Systems from Elizabethtown College
- a Master’s degree in Educational Technology Leadership from George Washington University
- is a current doctoral candidate for an Ed.D in Urban Educational Leadership from Morgan State University.
Tameka has served as a Technology Coordinator, Director of Technology, Dean of Students, Director of Student Affairs, Education Pioneers Fellow (NYC 2013), an Adjunct Professor, Education / Technology Consultant. Tameka is an alumni of the Washington Semester Program in 2003 @ American University – Transforming Communities
Tameka’s research interests include Leadership, Urban Education, Technology Leadership, Special Education, Assistive Technology, Student Development, Integrating Technology, Professional Development, Nonprofits and Entrepreneurship.
